On Outlook Start Group
Run all rules
Set this option to run all rules shortly after Outlook initially starts.
Pause rules until enabled with Toolbar button
This setting specifies whether or not menu items for Auto-Mate are added to Outlook's Tools menu.
Automatically Check for Updates
This setting specifies whether or not Auto-Mate should check for new software updates automatically when starting Outlook.
Rules Group
Delay time before scanning
This option configures the amount of time to wait before executing rules when a new event trigger occurs.
Display progress dialog when running rules
Enabling this option will cause a dialog to appear when rules are being processed. This is recommended.
Force Rules to be run manually only
This option stops the rules from processing automatically. To run rules when this option is checked, you must run them from the toolbar or ribbon run buttons.
Process rules only when Outlook is minimized
This setting specifies causes Auto-Mate to process rules automatically in the background only when Outlook is minimized.
Execute rules only when I am not interacting with Outlook
This feature when enabled causes Auto-Mate to suspend rule processing while you are interacting with Outlook, i.e. composing/reading messages. It remembers if rules were due to execute and will queue them and process them as soon as inactivity is detected. Set the inactivity period using the slider.
