Does Traylook work with Outlook Express?
No, Traylook does not work with any version of Microsoft Outlook Express. Outlook Express is the free email program that comes with Internet Explorer. It does not possess the ability to integrate add-in programs such as Traylook. It is intended as a basic email client.
What versions of Outlook are required for Traylook?
Traylook requires Microsoft Outlook 2000/2002/2003. It is part of the Microsoft Office suite of products. Traylook is a "add-in" created specifically to integrate with Outlook. These add-ins are currently supported in Outlook 2000 or greater.
How do I know what version of Outlook I am running?
To determine you current Outlook version, select "About..." from the Help menu of Outlook. This will identify the current version.
Traylook does not start with Outlook anymore.
Ensure that Outlook is configured to run Traylook as a COM Add-in:
- From the Tools menu of Outlook, select Options.
- Click the Other tab.
- Click the Advanced Options button.
- Click the COM Add-ins button.
- Insure that Traylook Add-in is listed and is checked.
Traylook suddenly stopped working today.
Ensure that your 15 day trial license has not expired:
- From the Tools menu of Outlook, select Options.
- Click the Traylook tab.
- If your license has expired, a red text message will appear in the options window.
- Click the Register button.
- Obtain an activation key from Pergenex Software here.
If you have a registered copy and it stopped working:
- Verify that the Traylook Add-in is enabled in Outlook on your computer.
- On the Outlook menu, select Tools->Options.
- If there is no "Traylook" Tab, then click on the Other tab, then click the Advanced Options button, then click the COM Add-In's button. Check if it lists "Traylook Add-In" and make sure it is checked.
- If it is not listed, then click the Add button and browse to the location where Traylook was installed. The default is C:\Program Files\Pergenex Software\Traylook. Select "TrayLookAddIn.dll" and the click OK to get out of all the dialog boxes.
