Get quickly on your way to total organization be using Auto-Mate's Setup Rules & Folders Wizard. Then create your own special rules to supplement this basic set.

When creating new rules, and you know the source folder, but have not created the destination folder yet, you can create the destination folder while building the rule by doing the following:

Using the Rule Properties window:

1.Configure the characteristics for your rule.

2.Select the source folder by clicking the browse button (...).

3.Select the destination folder by clicking the browse button (...), then click the New button on this window. You can choose the location for your new folder, and select it for your rule at the same time.

To filter all email from or to a particular domain, just enter the domain portion of the email in the From and To fields respectively in the Rule Properties window, i.e. @myfreemail.com. You can even specify multiple domain names separated by a semicolon (;) character, for example: @domain1.com; @domain2.com; @domain3.com.

You can double-click a rule in the Rules Manager to modify a rule. Also, you can delete a rule by using the DEL key on your keyboard.

To build a rule based on an existing rule, open the Auto-Mate Rule Manager. Select a rule in the list, and select Copy from the Ribbon. Then select Paste to create a copy of that rule. Then you can select the copied rule and modify it to adjust the rule as needed.

Use Auto-Mate in conjunction with Outlook's Rules Wizard to gain maximum control of what messages actually need to be delivered to your Inbox and which messages should get filed to specific folders and bypass the Inbox.

Use Outlook's Auto-Archive feature to archive old messages in destination folders thereby reducing the size of your PST file, and keeping your email system from getting too bulky.
